Die Videoinstallation zeigt eine Kamerafahrt durch die 1931 von Bernhard Pfau gebaute Villa in Viersen. Sie führt den Blick entlang an persönlichen, alltäglichen Gegenständen aus dem privaten Leben der heutigen Besitzerin und aus dem Aufbau der Ausstellung von Georg Ettl. Die Betrachter werden mit konstanter Geschwindigkeit durch einen scheinbar endlosen Raum geführt. Nach einer Umdrehung gelangt man nicht, wie erwartet, zum Ausgangspunkt zurück, sondern wird durch fließende Übergänge fast unmerklich in andere Räume geführt. Die rotierende Kamerafahrt wird zu einer Erkundungstour durch ein labyrinthisches Netz von lichtdurchfluteten Räumen.

The video installation shows a tracking shot through a Villa in Viersen which was buildt by Bernhard Pfau in the year 1931. It leads the eye along personal, everyday objects from the private life of the owner during the construction of an exhibition. At a constant speed the viewer is guided through a seemingly endless space. After one rotation one does not arrive as expected, to the starting point, but is led by smooth transitions almost imperceptibly into other rooms. The rotating tracking is a journey of discovery through a labyrinthine network of light-flooded rooms.
